Food chart for children
Here is the food chart for the children between 1 and 2 years of age, as recommended by the child specialist.
6:00 – 6:30 AM – 50-100 ml water when the child wakes up.
Next, give them the water in which the dried black grapes are soaked. This can avoid constipation.
7:00 – 7:30 – Breast milk
8:00 – 8:30 – Morning breakfast – Idly, idiyappam and dosai. Include vegetables in dosai. You can also give rava kichidi, oats and pongal with sambar.
After half an hour, bathe the child. Usually, the child will sleep after the bath.
11.30 – After the child wakes up, give them mixed fruits. You can also give vegetable soup, mutton soup or chicken soup.
Let the child play.

1:00 – 1:30 PM – For lunch, you could give sambar rice, rasam rice, dal rice, mixed vegetable rice and curd rice. You could also include white rice with chicken curry, mutton curry or fish curry. One boiled egg per day is great for the child.
Again put the child to sleep.
5:00 – 5:30 PM – Fruit milkshake, homemade biscuits, pancakes, millet sprouts and more.
Let the child play for some time.
7:30 PM – Dinner of Idly, dosa, uthappam or chapati can be given.
